Delivery

  • At the moment, Koto Living is only able to deliver within the UK. If you are from outside of the UK and would like to talk to us about an order please email info@kotoliving.co.uk as we might be able to assist.

  • Koto Living does not hold stock of items. All items are dispatched directly from the brands and makers directly to you. 

  • If you order from multiple brands please expect deliveries to come at different times.

  • All delivery costs as calculated at checkout. We aim to offer free shipping on as many items as possible. 

  • All deliveries are insured.

  • Please note that some of the items will incur import duties. These are payable by the customer so please allow for this. Koto Living has no control over these. 

  • Any orders placed over the weekend will be processed on the Monday.

  • It is the customers responsibility to ensure that any furniture can be safely and successfully delivered with enough access. If you require detailed information on package sizes please contact us. If you are ordering a large item and have stairs without a lift or hard to reach places, please contact us to make sure we can deliver.

  • All shipping times are listed in the item descriptions. As the majority of items are made to order, timings are dictated by the brands and their current production schedule.  Once your order has been placed we will be in contact within 48 hours to confirm a more specific delivery date. 

  • When possible, we will send you information on how you can track your order. 

  • From time to time products listed might be out of stock, which means that the delivery time will be extended. If this is the case, we will contact you right away to let you know.


Returns

  • Each of our brands have their own return policy. We have listed each of these below.

  • If you would like to return an item please contact us on info@kotoliving.co.uk. We will send information on how to return to the relevant brands. Please note that the items will need to be received by the brand within the time stated, so please allow for this. 

  • All returns should be sent via a recorded delivery method with proof. 

  • The customer is responsible for paying for the return postage unless the item is faulty. 

  • Once your return has reached the brand and has been accepted, your refund will be processed within 30 days via the original payment method, excluding delivery costs if applicable. 

  • We work with our brand partners to ensure that pieces arrive in perfect condition. If for some reason the item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us and we will arrange a refund or replacement.

  • Exceptions may apply to made to order items, we will inform you of this once the order has been placed to let you know if your item is non-returnable and give you the opportunity to cancel should you wish. Please get in touch for more information on particular items.

  • 101 Copenhagen - 14 day return / 2 year warranty

    If you regret your purchase, please contact us as soon as possible. Please do so without any unnecessary delay and latest 14 days after you have notified about your cancellation. You are liable for delivery expenses related to the return of the product. We only accept returned products in their undamaged and original packaging.

  • Another Country - 14 day return / 5 year warranty

    If you would like to return any items or your purchase is unsuitable (certain restrictions apply, see our Terms & Conditions), we are happy to provide a refund or exchange assuming that the goods are still in their original packaging and in a fully reusable condition.

    You have the right to return your purchases within 14 days for a full refund. You can do so for any reason – even if you simply changed your mind. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

  • Anne Nowak - 14 day return

    I offer a 14 days refund (excluding shipping costs for the return) upon receipt of the package, if you change your mind. The items must be returned unused and in the same condition as they were upon receipt, in the same original packaging. Note that the right of withdrawal is annulled if you use or damage the product in a way that obviously reduces the sales value significantly.

    Returns and exchanges happen at your own risk and expense, and is to be handled by you. If you wish to return an item, please contact us before returning any items, and we will provide you with directions for return. Remember to state your order number and relevant contact information in the e-mail. Please note that the cost of returning the item is to be paid by you.

    Please clearly mark the package ‘RETURNED GOODS’ to avoid any customs charges. Anne Nowak is not responsible for any customs charges regarding the returned parcel. Any charges incurred are the responsibility of the customer. 

  • Atelier Plateau - All pieces are made to order - refunds not available

    However, if your artwork has been damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 days of receiving it. Please make sure to open your package within this time.

  • Bolia - 30 day return / 5 year guarantee

    Please note that only items in original packaging can be exchanged/returned. It is therefore a good idea to fold up the packaging neatly and keep it somewhere safe until you've finally made up your mind. Goods are prepaid at the time of ordering. You can cancel or change your order completely or partially without any conditions and costs. However, any changes to your order may result in a new delivery date/pickup date.

  • Bird and Branch - 10 day return 

    Representation of all of our products is done as accurately as possible via images and description. Dimensions are a guide only, however, differences will be minimal and generally no more then +/-5mm. Goods can be returned within 10 days.

  • Carley Rudd - All printed to order, returns not available

    We are not able to accept returns or exchanges at this time. Each fine art photograph is printed and framed to order.

    We take all precautions to ensure your framed print arrives safely. However, if your framed print has been damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 days of receiving it. Please make sure to open your package within this time.

    Please keep all original packaging and the print as we may require photos or even the original print to process your claim.

  • FDB Møbler - email us for details on returns / 1 year warranty

  • Frama - 30 day return / email us for details on warranty

    During 30 days following the delivery of your order, you may request the refund of items, which you must return to us in unused condition accompanied by the original invoice. Returns will only be accepted if labels and original packaging are fully intact and in a resaleable condition. Frama cannot accept returns where labels have been removed or products opened.

  • hobo + co - 7 day return

    As a consumer, you have the right to return the Products without any reason within 7 working days from the receipt of the Products.  If the return of the Products is not due to a product defect or an error committed by hobo + co. You will have to pay the shipping charges for the return of the Products. If you exercise this right to return the Products, you will return the Products ordered in a state fit for their resale and in their original packaging, to the following address: 2 Grays Rd, Louth LN11 0EL.

  • Karina Klages - 14 day return 

    You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period is 14 days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, has or has taken possession of the goods.

    We can refuse the repayment if the goods were not returned in their original packaging, the goods are damaged or used, or the goods have been sent without proof of postage, or you have provided evidence that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

  • Menu - 14 day return / 2 year guarantee against manufacturing defects.

    You can withdraw from the contract to purchase without giving any reason within 14 days. The right to cancel expires 14 days after the day you physically receive the goods. All items returned must be unused, in the same condition as when received, and must have all tags, including original packaging materials.

  • Ninos Studio - All artworks are made to order so they are non-refundable.

    As all items are made to order, returns are not accepted. In the case of damage upon arrival, please contact Koto Living immediately with photographic evidence.

  • Northern - 14 day return / 1 year warranty

    The right of cancellation presupposes that you notify us within 14 days of receiving the delivery (notice of cancellation). The package will then be sent to us within 14 days. In the event of a right of withdrawal, the product must be returned in the same condition as when you received the product.
    In order for the right of withdrawal to be valid, the product must be returned in the same condition as when you received it. This means that the product is clean and unused, and in original packaging without visible signs of damage to packaging and/or product. Therefore, be careful packing the item – use the original product packaging as well as protective transport packaging.

  • Pacha Design - 14 day return

    We hope that you will be happy with your handmade purchase, but if not you may return it to us within 14 days for a refund or exchange minus the postage costs. The item/s must be returned unused and in the same condition as they were received.

  • Popalini and Jezando - All pieces are made to order so they are non refundable.

    This item is supplied as made to order and will be delivered direct from the maker. These made to order pieces are non-returnable. However, they will be refunded or replaced should they arrive broken or with a fault. Returns will be completed upon full inspection of the product via photographic evidence, and can take up to 30 days to process.

  • Raawii - 14 day return 

    If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you have the possibility of returning the products to us. You have 14 days to return your order; beginning from the day you received it. Returns of purchases are at your own expenses. All returns (except faulty/defected items) must be in the same condition as it was received, not used or altered in any way, and with undamaged packaging for a full refund.

  • Sam Scales - All pieces are printed to order so they are non-refundable.

    The prints are supplied as made to order and will be delivered direct from the printer. These made to order pieces are non-returnable. However, they will be refunded or replaced should they arrive damaged or with a fault. Returns will be completed upon full inspection of the product via photographic evidence, and can take up to 30 days to process.

  • Sylvia Dales - All pieces are made to order so they are non-refundable.

    The ceramics are supplied as made to order and will be delivered direct from the maker. These made to order pieces are non-returnable. However, they will be refunded or replaced should they arrive broken or with a fault. Returns will be completed upon full inspection of the product via photographic evidence, and can take up to 30 days to process.

  • Tala - 28 day return

    If you are not satisfied with your lights, you can return them within 28 days. You must however make us aware that you would like to make the return within 14 days. You will need to ensure you keep the lights in the condition of when they were sent, undamaged and packaged.

  • Viv Lee - All pieces are made to order so they are non-refundable.

    This item is supplied as made to order and will be delivered direct from the maker. These made to order pieces are non-returnable. However, they will be refunded or replaced should they arrive broken or with a fault. Returns will be completed upon full inspection of the product via photographic evidence, and can take up to 30 days to process.
